Don't forget about your Note Check test on NOX ARUMQUE next week.  You be asked to sing one section from NOX (A, B, C, D or E), along with a soundtrack playing your own part.  One mark of 20 is deducted for each note mistake you make so visit the VOCAL page on the Music Blog for practice links!

Once your own test is complete next week, please have your solos or group pieces ready to rehearse for your upcoming summatives and please use this extra time wisely.

Good luck.

Hey everyone.  If you want to see when ACI is performing at The Nationals or if you want to see when your friends' school is performing, go to MusicFest Canada and click on "2012 Lineup".  Then click on "Schedules" in the left hand column.  Then click on the type of ensemble/stage you want to find.  North East Jazz is not yet listed because we are on Stage D at the National Arts Centre on Friday.  Apparently the regular jazz venue is not available on Friday and Saturday.  However, I can tell you that we are performing at 1:30PM on the Friday!  Check it out!
Don't forget that there is an AMR test for all grade 10 students on the following:

Sailing Songs:

Beginning to Cantabile - 1 student choice, 1 teacher choice
