Please note that we probably won't be able to get into the school when we return late on Friday night from the Kaleid Festival, so pack your weekend homework and bring it home on THURSDAY and plan accordingly on Friday.

The Agincourt Men's Chorus and the Madrigal Singers will be recording their pieces for Provincials on Tuesday, May 8th during DEAR in the Auditorium.  Come to the AUD directly from lunch. 

We do only one take of each piece so it will not take too long, you will still attend Period 3

We have 164 elementary choristers and 137 secondary. Add to that the 45 fabulous Kokopelli Choir members, and I think we can count on a beautiful event filled with learning and music.
 
Please remind your choristers of the following:
 
Dress code is a bright, solid coloured t- shirt
 
Re-usable water bottle is a must
 
bring your own lunch
 
pizza will be available for supper at cost of $5  
OR your choir can go out to one of the many downtown restaurants

5:40 – 5:55pm                     Jazz Group performs on stage as guests enter Constitution Hall

5:55 pm                                   Jazz Group leaves Con Hall and returns to Green Room

5:45 p.m.                                Head Table enters the room

6:05 p.m.                                Choir rises with audience for National Anthem (cued by overhead announcement)

6:10 p.m.                                Choir is introduced and performs two numbers

North East Jazz!  We have been invited to join the Madrigals and the String Quartet for the event at the Metro Convention centre on May 2.  Please check the list on Mr. Lum's desk ASAP to confirm that you are available for this engagement.  Dinner will be provided!
Grade 11 and 12 Vocal Students

Don't forget about your Note Check test on NOX ARUMQUE next week.  You be asked to sing one section from NOX (A, B, C, D or E), along with a soundtrack playing your own part.  One mark of 20 is deducted for each note mistake you make so visit the VOCAL page on the Music Blog for practice links!


Once your own test is complete next week, please have your solos or group pieces ready to rehearse for your upcoming summatives and please use this extra time wisely.
